We will drive through a beautiful route with lush olive groves and we will first reach the Aposelemi Dam where we can see the sunken village of Sfentyli. Then, we’ll arrive at a local olive oil mill in Avdou where we’ll get all the information about the production of Cretan olive oil and at the same time, we’ll have the opportunity to try different types of olive oil and its products. We’ll climb to higher altitudes and pass-through traditional villages, where you’ll get a close-up look at the locals’ way of life. Our next stop, is in the village of Krasi, famous for its enormous 2,400-year-old plane tree and traditional stone fountains with natural water flowing year-round. The day’s final stop brings us to the charming mountain village of Mochos. Stroll its scenic streets, snap photos of the historic square, and soak in the authentic Cretan atmosphere. Finally, we return to the hotel along a scenic route, full of breathtaking views.
