Explore the amazing paths of Thrypti Mountains with the spectacular canyons, ancient settlements, and breathtaking views. After starting your hike at Kavousi village, get straight into the mountains hiking on Minoan paths that will lead you above the spectacular Kavousi Canyon.
Next is the post-Minoan settlement of Azorias dated from the 7th – 5th century BC. We will have a small stop there to admire the mountain and sea views before continuing our hike towards one of the oldest trees in the Mediterranean, the ancient olive tree of Kavousi, estimated around 4000 years old. After that, start your descent to the traditional village of Kavousi.
Last but not least, cool off with a dive at the amazing sandy beach of Tholos where you will have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscapes around you.
