Explore one of Crete’s most beautiful landscapes while hiking through the stunning gorge of Kritsa. In the gorge of Kritsa we will hike through it’s narrow walls and see it’s unique flora and fauna. Once we get out of the gorge we will take the old path back to Kritsa village. The hike is about 6km long. The views of the mountains and Mirabello bay will amaze you.
As we hike back to the village of Kritsa, we will visit the museum of rare and endemic plants of Crete, which is definately one of the highlights of our tour. At the end of the tour we will have some free time in the traditional village of Kritsa. This hike is ideal for the ones who love nature’s hidden gems and like to discover places which are part of Crete’s history.
