Quad safari with Malia travel

Tour Details

Description

Our adventure starts from our premises in Malia. After a safety briefing we start the trip heading to the Minoan palace in Malia. We pass through the palace and continue towards the village of Sissi crossing a forest, passing through olive groves and continue up to the mountains where we will have a great photo opportunity under one of the oldest (over than 800 years old) oak in the island. Then we continue to the village of Vrahasi. The route snakes through the narrow village streets of Vrahasi and climbs steeply up towards the old Monastery of Agios Georgios Vrahasiotis. The off-road track offers great opportunities for amazing photographs and breathtaking scenery. Every 30 minutes we will stop for photographs and a chance to change drivers. During this time, the guide will inform you about the places that we visit. We continue our trip through the village of Latsida where we stop for lunch in a traditional tavern. After lunch we continue our trip to the village of Neapoli where we visit Vasilakis olive factory. We will have a tour in an award-winning Cretan olive press. After that visit our adventure will be complete but not over. We will stop at the village of Sissi in a beautiful beach for swimming. Finally we drive back to our base where our journey began.
