On this evening tour we will enjoy the sunset at the historical Minoan settlement of Karfi. Our first stop is at the village of Potamies in order to visit a traditional shepherd’s farm. We pass next to the dam of Aposelemis, the largest water reservoir in Crete. The village of Sfendili is submerged in the water. We drive through one of the most representative villages of Crete, Avdou. We continue uphill on dirt roads to the gorge of Embasa. Impressive mountains and wildlife nature with unique views. Opportunity to collect some local herbs. Late in the afternoon its time for the sunset. Beautiful images as if taken from another setting accompanied by cool Prosecco and fresh seasonal fruits. Dinner follows with local delicacies and local wine and water! Mentally and physically full of the most amazing sunset in Crete and good food, we return back to our hotels.
